Stephen and Ayesha Curry are among the most well-known and stable couples in American sports. Married for 14 years, their marriage has experienced its share of ups and downs; however, a recent scandal involving rapper 6ix9ine led Dr. Umar to offer unsolicited advice to the Warriors star.

Ayesha is a star in her own right. She began her career as a model and actress at a young age, but following her marriage to Curry, her ventures expanded, making her a YouTube star.

During this time, Ayesha has been a constant source of controversy, especially due to her candid comments in her vlogs and podcasts. From jokes about her wedding ring to topics of insecurity.

However, the most recent controversy wasn’t even started by her, but rather stemmed from a comment 6ix9ine made during a live stream with YouTubers Adin Ross and N3on, which provoked a controversial response from Dr. Umar… directed at Ayesha.

Dr. Umar’s Unsolicited Advice to Steph Curry

During the conversation with Daniel Hernandez, better known as 6ix9ine, the YouTubers asked the rapper what the biggest “name” was that he had ever had a sexual encounter with.

After asking if he could be sued for defamation, the rapper replied, “In my dream? Ayesha Curry.” Although the musician clarified that it had been a dream, Dr. Umar took it very seriously.

The motivational speaker and lecturer didn’t waste any time in giving Curry some radical advice. “If Steph Curry finds out 6ix9ine tapped his queen, he might have to leave,” Umar asserted.

The renowned psychologist immediately went further, saying, “Because you don’t go from Steph Curry to 6ix9ine, no disrespect.” So far, the Currys have not responded to Dr. Umar.

Steph Curry gets fed up with a certain rapper

Hernandez isn’t the first to make inappropriate comments about Ayesha Curry. Usually, Steph lets them slide, but even he had had enough with what rapper Killer Mike said.

“My n*gga said she wanna go be Glo! Man, Steph doesn’t deserve the embarrassment. God bless him,” the rapper said in a TikTok video. This time, Curry didn’t let the comment go.

“Naaaa, not you, Mike. I’m cool staying silent and letting these other clowns have their moment,” Curry retorted. “And you’re the worst of them. But you’re better than that, @killermike.”

With the recent controversy surrounding 6ix9ine, fans are waiting to see if Steph responds or ignores the rapper.
