Stephen Curry may be sidelined with an injury, but that didn’t stop him from making sure his wife Ayesha Curry felt the love on her birthday. The Golden State Warriors star took a break from basketball recovery to celebrate Ayesha’s 36th birthday in Miami, where the couple were joined by friends for a sunny, food-filled celebration ahead of the team’s Tuesday night game against the Heat.

Curry, who is currently recovering from a pelvic contusion sustained in a recent game, traveled with the team on its road trip despite not being fully healthy.

With the Warriors enjoying a short break before their next matchup, the timing was perfect for a mini birthday getaway in South Florida.

A bond that started in their teens keeps growing stronger

Ayesha, who has become a household name in her own right as a cookbook author, entrepreneur, and TV personality, gave fans a glimpse into the day’s festivities, including a lavish lunch curated by a private chef.

But the highlight of the day came later, when Steph posted a heartfelt tribute to his wife on Instagram. Known for being vocal about his love and admiration for Ayesha, the four-time NBA champion once again opened up to his followers with words that spoke volumes.

“Where do we begin to describe what you mean to me, our family, everyone who’s been blessed enough to get to know you,” Curry wrote.

“You light the room up. Most caring and thoughtful person I know. Every role you fill in life you do it with a passion and energy that makes a true difference. A special moment happened back in the late 80’s on 3/23. And I’m forever grateful for it and for you! Love you my woman. Bless up and happy birthday @ayeshacurry.”

The couple’s story began when they were both teenagers in North Carolina. Over the years, they’ve built not just a marriage, but a brand together-becoming a symbol of enduring love in the spotlight. Married since 2011, they now share four children and have supported each other through championship wins, entrepreneurial ventures, and public scrutiny.
