Stephen Curry might be in offseason mode, but superstar life doesn’t take time off. While the NBA world watches the Finals without the Warriors, the four-time champ was just trying to live a regular dad life-until Costco turned into a fan convention.

Curry, one of the most beloved players in the league whether you rep the Warriors or not, pulled up to the warehouse giant for a chill grocery run. Wearing a low-key fit and a black cap, the two-time MVP clearly wanted to blend in-maybe even pass for an employee if you squinted hard enough. But there’s no hiding when you’re that guy. Once spotted, shoppers started casually drifting his way, forming an unofficial entourage through the aisles.

From stealth mode to spotlight in seconds

Despite Curry’s best efforts to fly under the radar, fans couldn’t help themselves. No one rushed him for selfies or autographs, but their presence was undeniable-enough to throw off any chance of a peaceful Costco haul. Some even broke into spontaneous “MVP!” chants, while others whispered about being in the presence of the greatest shooter the game’s ever seen.

Curry, ever the pro, flashed a smile in response. But that smile wasn’t entirely joyful. It had the energy of a dad who just wanted to buy stuff for the house and shadowed by half the store. The effort to stay low-key had clearly gone sideways, and while he appreciated the love, he definitely looked over it.

Offseason or not, Curry’s still cooking

While teams like OKC and Indiana are still battling it out in the Finals, Curry’s offseason has already begun. At 37, he just wrapped up his 16th NBA season-still playing at a level that most players dream of during their peak. With averages of 24.5 points, six assists, and a jaw-dropping 93.3% from the free-throw line, he’s proving age is just a number when you’re a generational talent.

This level of greatness follows him everywhere-even through the towering aisles of Costco. It’s the price of being a legend. Even in a sea of oversized carts, Stephen Curry is impossible to miss.
