Stephen A. Smith isn’t afraid to share his opinion, even if it means shocking audiences, and that’s exactly what he did during an appearance on the Tonight Show.
The ESPN star sat down with Jimmy Fallon and discussed a variety of topics, including the constant talk over a potential bid to become President of the USA in 2028.
However, it’s his thoughts on whether Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will get married in 2025 that really had people talking, and Fallon jumping off his seat.
“I’m scared to get this wrong,” said Smith. “Travis Kelce, that’s my dawg. I got to tell you: a lot of ladies love Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce has loved a lot of ladies.
“But Taylor Swift’s a different animal. She looks good. She’s incredibly talented. And she’s worth about a billion (dollars). We’re going to guess a ‘yes’ on this one.”
Fallon couldn’t help but let his excitement known, responding, “That’s a hot take. I hope that happens.”
Smith heaps praise on Swift
From there, Smith described Swift as a “three-headed monster” while lauding to the traits he previously pointed out.
“That’s a hard, hard thing to turn down,” Smith said regarding Kelce.
Swift and Kelce have never been shy when it comes to supporting one another.
Kelce took the stage during one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows at London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2024.
As for Swift, she has attended 22 games since she began dating Kelce. She was most recently in the VIP suite at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX between Kansas City and Philadelphia.
The Chiefs saw their dream of a three-peat end after falling 40-22.
