Eight teams remain in the race for the Super Bowl, but fans have already chosen their dream matchup. While analysts and bettors rely on metrics and performance, fans know exactly what they want to see at Levi’s Stadium: a clash of underdogs.

This past weekend’s wild-card round eliminated four teams, and four more will be sent home on Saturday, the 17th, and Sunday, the 18th, further clearing the path to the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The divisional round begins Saturday with the Bills visiting the Broncos and the 49ers facing the Seahawks. It concludes Sunday with the Texans taking on the Patriots and the Rams meeting the Bears.

Experts consider Los Angeles the top contenders in the NFC, while Denver is favored in the AFC. However, fans are envisioning a very different showdown.

With Super Bowl LX just two weeks away, fans have made their voices heard on social media, naming San Francisco and Buffalo as their preferred finalists.

“The Super Bowl America needs: The Buffalo Bills versus the San Francisco 49ers.”

The matchup is driven more by emotion than statistics. “Two of the greatest underdog stories in sports: Josh Allen vs. Brock Purdy,” the account explained.

That doesn’t mean the game would lack excitement. “Two high-powered offenses in what could be a shootout in the biggest game of the year. A perfect matchup.”

“If my bracket goes as planned, that’s the Super Bowl we’re going to get,” one fan declared. Another added: “This is the Super Bowl we swear we need. If not, Bills vs. Bears.”

Others chimed in with enthusiasm:

After Purdy and the 49ers eliminated the Philadelphia Eagles, and Allen’s Bills knocked out the Jacksonville Jaguars-both on the road in the wild-card round-fans’ excitement is more than understandable.
