Just two seasons ago, Angel Reese took her first steps in the WNBA after being selected in the 2024 Draft as the seventh overall pick by the Chicago Sky.
The former LSU player showcased her talent with the team and, despite not making the playoffs in these seasons, she has achieved great things as a rookie and is now established with the Sky.
Reese’s message on Instagram
The 23-year-old forward closed out her second year as a two-time All-Star Game player, the league’s leading rebounder, and averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
However, off the court, Reese also shines in other personal projects. Angel recently announced that she will be the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and has just launched her footwear brand, “the Angel Reese 1,” with Reebok.
In addition, the Sky star was part of the movie “A House of Dynamite,” which premiered in theaters on October 10, and continues to record her podcast “Unapologetically Angel.”
She has also established herself as a fashion and sports icon, model, entrepreneur, and influencer. For this and much more, her latest Instagram post comes as no surprise.
Reese shared an image with a powerful message in her stories with her 5.1 million Instagram followers: “Fortunately for me, I will get everything I want in this life.”
The truth is that, after such an extensive resume, Angel’s words could not be more true, and her competitive attitude is not only a trait of her game but also of her life.
In the meantime, we will have to wait until May to see her display her talent on the courts when the 2026 season begins.
