Jannik Sinner and Felix Auger-Aliassime face off on Friday in one of the semifinals of the 2025 US Open. The world number one is on a roll after thrashing Musetti, while the Canadian will be looking to spring a surprise after overcoming Alex de Minaur in four hours of battle to reach his second Grand Slam semi-final.

The duel will be played on the Arthur Ashe Court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center

The head-to-head between the two favours the Canadian 2-1, although the last meeting (Cincinnati 2025) was a crushing victory for Sinner 6-0, 6-2

Auger-Aliassime, currently ranked 27th in the ATP rankings, has seven titles in his career, compared to the 20 titles and almost 47 million that the Italian, the current US Open champion, has accumulated.

With Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic playing for the other ticket to the final, the tournament looks set to end with a historic finish. Sinner, unbeaten in 26 consecutive Grand Slam matches on hard courts, is defending not only his crown in New York but also his ATP number one ranking, threatened by Alcaraz himself.
