Olympics legend Simone Biles’ having a great start to 2025 as she has received her flowers publicly as one of the most impactful athletes worldwide at the 2024 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year awards ceremony in Las Vegas… and on the personal side of things, the Columbus, Ohio native couldn’t be better and a passionate kiss with her husband’s a great example of it.
The American gymnast has been busy traveling the country and mentoring aspiring gymnasts while promoting her image. She’s been in New York for work and she couldn’t have better company for it: her husband, Chicago Bears defensive back Jonathan Owens.

Biles and Owens are on their never-ending honeymoon phase and they are not afraid of showing their deep love in public, whereas its the sidelines of Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, or in public places, and that was the case Monday night as the couple had a romantic dinner and took plenty advantage of it.
She posted a video on her Instagram page where we see the couple all dressed up and they share a passionate kiss in front of the customers of a fancy New York city restaurant. Biles used J. Cole’s “Love Yourz” as part of the lovely video.
The couple has been seen enjoying a New York Knicks game at iconic Madison Square Garden, where they both sported some fly looks. They been traveling the Big Apple and dealing with the perks of moving around in one of the busiest cities in the world.
They ended the trip with some wellness treatment and Biles took a picture of a Hermes shopping bag which shows that she had some time to get some goodies.
Biles also had an exclusive fireside chat at VTEX Connect Live NYC 2025 in Manhattan, where she shared her journey of resilience and leadership. It was a chance for young people to hear from one of the most inspiring athletes of all time.
What’s next for Simone Biles?
Looking ahead, Simone Biles has hinted that her time in gymnastics may be coming to an end. During an interview in which she was named Sports Illustrated’s 2024 Athlete of the Year, Biles reflected on her future and hinted that a return to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles was unlikely.
She’ll be 31 and having accomplished everything she set out to do in the sport, Biles acknowledged the sacrifices she would have to make to compete again, including delaying her plans to start a family with her husband, Jonathan Owens.
Biles insisted that she had reached a point where it felt more like she was continuing for the sake of vanity than pursuing a real challenge. Instead, she seems focused on her personal life and her future beyond gymnastics.
