Shohei Ohtani is back and has shown in Spring Training that he can hit at the highest level, even coming back from injury.

The roar of the crowd at Camelback Ranch was a wild howl, a soul-shaking roar in the park. The Japanese star, a 30-year-old titan, had just returned from surgery to repair a brutal tear in his left shoulder. Facing the giants of the major leagues, each swing was a life-or-death sentence, a flash of fury and redemption. It was not a comeback, but an epic rebirth!

The Dodgers star was instrumental in beating the Angels today (6-5), Ohtani hit a solo home run and needed only five pitches to silence any concerns or intrigue at the level we are accustomed to.

Ohtani and his injuries: May could be a special month

Shohei Ohtani gives his all for the team and that was very clear during the World Series against the Yankees, in a reckless slide he tore his left shoulder, an injury that seemed to doom him, but he returned to compete with pride and pain at the top.

After a 2024 robbed by a cruel elbow injury, unable to dominate from the mound in his first year with the Dodgers, fate now beckons. Dave Roberts, the team’s manager, has already announced some tremendous news that will be great for Los Angeles, assuring that May will be the month of Ohtani’s return as a pitcher, what madness awaits us.

The reactions are not long in coming: Dodgers fans are excited.

One more season and the Dodgers are even confident of being crowned World Series champions again, it doesn’t sound so far-fetched with the great team they have, but it’s just the beginning, fans are already showing their hopes on X:

“already gonna get his 2nd MVP NL”
