Shedeur Sanders, the fifth-round draft pick out of Colorado, may have endured one of the most dramatic draft slides of 2025, but since landing in Cleveland, he’s gone from draft-day disappointment to rising contender in the Browns’ quarterback room.

Now, Sanders is mixing sharp play with savvy self-promotion and Browns fans, much like his coaches, are starting to take notice.

While Organized Team Activities (OTAs) continue in Berea, Sanders is battling a crowded quarterback room that includes veteran Joe Flacco, rookie Dillon Gabriel, and $230-million starter Deshaun Watson.

But early rankings and practice impressions are surprisingly putting Sanders at the top of the heap, thanks to his poise, pocket awareness, and dynamic arm strength.

Shedeur brings style, substance, and surprise soundtracks to Cleveland

On Saturday, Sanders posted a carousel of polished, high-energy photos from Browns practice. The soundtrack he chose: Kylie Minogue’s 2001 global hit “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”

Known for her pop anthems and iconic status in the music world, the 57-year-old Australian diva may not be the go-to artist for most NFL rookies but for Sanders, the choice was clearly intentional.

Whether it’s his on-field play or his unexpected musical selections, Sanders is working overtime to ensure fans and coaches can’t get him out of their heads, a clever nod to the track’s lyrics and his own rising stock in Cleveland.

The son of NFL legend and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur has already been in the spotlight for years, but his transition to the NFL has been laser-focused.

Despite headlines over an alleged $500,000 car purchase and his ultra-brief appearance at teammate Travis Hunter’s wedding, Sanders has kept the attention firmly on football since arriving at rookie minicamp.

A music artist himself, Sanders dropped his first single, “Perfect Timing,” in 2024. His draft party even featured a live performance alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea. But now, it’s game time. And as he tries to win over the locker room and Browns Nation, Sanders is letting his performance do the talking.
