Shedeur Sanders is currently preparing for life in the NFL with the Draft approaching and his time with the Colorado Buffaloes coming to an end.

Given his dad is Deion Sanders, he is one of the biggest names going into the Draft and millions of eyes are watching to see where he will end up.

Supposedly, though, he is not the most liked guy in the football community right now and it could impact how the Draft pans out.

The Athletic recently reported that Sanders ‘would not be ranked ahead of any of the six QBs taken in the first round last year’, suggesting that scouts do not view him as highly as some people may imagine.

NFL turns on Shedeur Sanders

Now, Fox Sports reporter Rob Parker has spoken about Sanders during a radio conversation with Kelvin Washington.

Shedeur Sanders has officially reached ‘unlikable’ status… There’s some jealousy there, and it shouldn’t factor in at all and just be about his ability,” Parker said.

Parker went on to suggest that having Deion Sanders as his dad is one of the reasons behind this jealousy and general dislike toward Shedeur ahead of the Draft.

“He’s got Deion Sanders as his dad. Some people just don’t like that. They see him driving around in luxury cars, rocking the jewelry, and they assume he’s had everything handed to him,” Parker said.

Co-host Washington chimed in with his own thoughts: “A lot of this is starting to sound more code for ‘humble.’ How can he go backward when he was projected to be high even before the season?”

Shedeur‘s decision to skip throwing at the Combine is part of the reason for the animosity, as he chose to let his Pro Tape do the talking.

NFL analyst Brett Kollmann spoke on this at the time: “It’s not the biggest deal in the world that Shedeur isn’t throwing, but it is kind of annoying… everyone has to go out to Colorado just to see it.”
