The college football season is days away from its finale. The NFL Playoffs are in full swing and the Super Bowl is less than a month away. What that means is 24 NFL teams have their eyes completely focused on the offseason, and in turn, the 2025 NFL Draft. With the Tennessee Titans having the first overall pick, no one really knows what’s going to happen.
The Titans will have a new general manager who will have a big say in whether they stay at No. 1 or trade down to try to gather more picks and set themselves up better for the future. If there was a clear-cut elite prospect at the quarterback position, the Titans would more than likely stay at their pick and go that route. But draft analysts aren’t completely sold on either Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward.

Cam Ward is the current favorite to be drafted first overall
Given Sanders’ name and starpower, many have essentially penciled him in as the No. 1 pick as long as a QB-needy team is picking at that spot. But according to BetMGM, Ward is actually the favorite to be the first player taken.
Being the first overall pick is a huge honor, but being drafted second or later could actually give Sanders a chip on his shoulder to start his NFL career with; especially if another QB gets picked before him.
With the Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants holding the top three picks, odds are Sanders and Ward will get taken within those picks. The other two consensus top players are Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter.
