At this moment, the quarterback position for the Cleveland Browns remains completely undecided. The team continues to work on details, but it won’t be until later that the coaching staff decides who should lead the team’s offense. At least, that’s what Head Coach Kevin Stefanski revealed.

“There’s definitely a point in July and August where our mentality will shift as we get closer to making those final decisions,” was his most definitive or general statement about the quarterback room.

According to the coach, the team will hold preseason games, where they’ll assess how various players perform in “real time,” making these scenarios crucial for final decisions.

“There are dates where I have some placeholders for when we’re going to make certain decisions. Getting into the preseason games – that’s the fun part. We’ll have a practice against Carolina, and two practices versus Philly – those will be valuable as well.”
