Shaquille O’Neal continues to make headlines off the basketball court. And that’s no surprise, because he’s a legend in the NBA.
His role as an ex-player is perfect for TV because of his great charisma, his great sense of humor has brought him many opportunities and he has not missed them at all.
And of course, let’s not forget his media media , which also have a big impact, when MrBeast, the world’s biggest youtuber, comes in to challenge Shaq in his usual challenges to athletes.
MrBeast’s challenges are dangerous
And the thing is, when it comes to challenges, MrBeast certainly knows how to do them, but a lot of them are a little dangerous, especially for him after he took on a very crazy challenge like being buried alive underground for several weeks.
In that challenge, MrBeast was successful for one day, then it went to 2, and then his community asked him for more time, so he made the hard decision to stay for an entire week.
“But yeah, that might be where I draw the line, because if you lie down for a week, obviously you can’t stay on your feet. You’re in a coffin underground. It hurts, man,” he admitted. “Your back hurts, it’s not the most comfortable. And you’re not supposed to lie down for so long, and you can get blood clots,” the content creator said on ‘The Big Podcast’ with Shaq.
Shaq advises MrBeat with surprising answer
In the same conversation on Shaquille O’Neal‘s podcast, MrBeast kept insisting that he could break his record and do something crazy like being buried alive for more than a month again, but… the former player was very emphatic with his suggestion.
“For now, I’m going to stop working and finish in a week. But part of me and my ego wants to say you can work for a month. And I want to work for a month. So that’s something I struggle with. But that seems kind of…” Before he could finish, MrBeast commented.
But Shaq immediately cut him off. “I say no. I say no.”
Instead, he suggested a different challenge. Shaq and MrBeast are planning epic challenges such as walking across the desert for 100 days to prove their endurance and become legends, and a costumed trip across seven countries to see who recognizes them, showing that legends are not satisfied with the ordinary.
We’ll see how the fans respond, as MrBeast’s underground burial videos have been a huge success, averaging over 300 million views on YouTube.
