Simone Biles has been on a well-earned whirlwind of travel since her latest Olympic triumph, but it seems not everyone is thrilled about her adventures.

Tennis superstar Serena Williams couldn’t help but join the chorus of fans commenting on Biles‘ jet-setting lifestyle after the gymnast posted a batch of sun-soaked photos from her most recent getaway.

Biles, sharing glimpses of picturesque scenery and quality time with friends, asked her Instagram followers, “Where to next? Taking suggestions.” The post immediately drew thousands of comments, but it was Williams’ response that stood out.

“Ugh go home lol and stop leaving me behind,” Williams quipped, giving followers a glimpse into their fun, competitive friendship.

A friendship built on admiration and friendly banter

This is not the first time Serena Williams has reacted to Biles‘ vacation posts. The two have a history of playful interactions, with Williams previously commenting with a dramatic “Ughhh” on another of Biles‘ trips. Earlier this year, Williams tagged Biles in a travel video captioned, “Jealous?”-to which Biles responded with her trademark good humor: “Girllllllllllll yes… just you wait.”

Their mutual support extends beyond social media. Both athletes have been honored on TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people, attended high-profile events together, and spoken out about the challenges and pressures facing women in elite sports.

As Biles enjoys her time away from competition, her travels have kept fans-and friends-glued to her updates. She’s posted from the British Virgin Islands, Las Vegas, London, and more. Off the mat, she’s made appearances with her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, even turning heads at Chicago Bears Family Fest.

With Biles currently on hiatus, the US Gymnastics Championships are set to crown a new all-around champion-something that hasn’t happened in a decade unless Biles herself chose not to compete. Rising stars like Jayla Hang and Hezly Rivera are looking to make their mark, but the spotlight still often falls on Biles, who recently added two more ESPY Awards to her already legendary resume.

For Williams, retirement hasn’t meant slowing down. The former tennis champion is now immersed in business, fashion, and motherhood, but she still finds time to rib her friends-and keep up with their adventures.

Even away from competition, the bond between Biles and Williams stands out. Their lighthearted social media exchanges are a reminder that, for even the biggest stars, friendship and laughter remain the best souvenirs from a life in the spotlight.
