In a clip the WNBA posted on Instagram, Ionescu can be seen describing her jacket as the wind blows in her face, clearly enjoying her moment of glory. On her right arm, she wears the names and scores of the teams they defeated, including Atlanta, Las Vegas and Minnesota. “Just the series,” he jokes as he points to the patches.
Ionescu also mocked critics with his jacket, stating that this garment is a message to those who questioned his accomplishments and refereeing at the Barclays Center.
