No one expected Ryan Garcia to fall back to his old ways ahead of his return from a one-year suspension, but it’s perhaps been somewhat surprising to see how even-keeled he’s been. Romero clearly wants to take advantage of the exposure the event at Times Square will get, but it’s a bit of a desperate move from a boxer who is generally well known. Who can blame him for trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from the fight, though? This may be the last time he fights a name as big as Garcia.
