Russell Wilson is once again showing his loyalty to longtime friend and aviation entrepreneur Kenny Dichter, celebrating the launch of Dichter’s latest venture, REAL JET. The new company marks Dichter’s high-profile return to private aviation after his time as CEO of Wheels Up.
Wilson shared the announcement with his 5.6 million Instagram followers as the New York Giants star reposted a clip from REAL JET with the song Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz playing in the background.
He tagged Dichter and the official REAL JET account, adding three airplane emojis-a subtle but meaningful signal of support.
A friendship built on vision and loyalty
Wilson and Dichter’s partnership goes back over a decade and extends well beyond business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the pair co-founded the “Meals Up” campaign in partnership with Feeding America, providing meals to families in need. Their bond is rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and a drive to make a lasting impact.
It’s a relationship that has drawn admiration from others as well. Hall of Famer Troy Aikman also acknowledged Dichter’s new venture with a congratulatory Instagram Story, reposting a message that described Dichter as a “visionary entrepreneur.”
Wilson and Aikman may not always see eye-to-eye, but their shared respect for Dichter underscores the aviation mogul’s influence across industries.
REAL JET is a new division of Dichter’s REAL SLX, a lifestyle brand known for giving members premium access to curated events and experiences. According to Dichter, REAL JET aims to “connect flyers with the right companies, the right aircraft, and the right people.” The goal is to modernize and expand private aviation access-especially for corporate travelers and occasional flyers.
Dichter’s model takes inspiration from the convenience and customization of rideshare apps, offering tailored flight solutions in a once-exclusive industry. With REAL JET, he’s hoping to disrupt private aviation once again.
Wilson’s wife, Ciara, also backed Dichter’s launch. She reposted Wilson’s story, adding her own caption: “Let’s go @kennydichter.”
The singer and entrepreneur has long been part of this extended network, publicly supporting Dichter and his wife Shoshana over the years.
In 2015, Wilson shared a heartfelt Instagram photo with the Dichters.
“Grateful for @WheelsUp8760 Family CEO Kenny Dichter & Shoshana Dichter & Crew! 45,000 Feet Closer to God! #Blessed.”
Wilson’s support for Dichter comes as the quarterback begins a new NFL chapter. After a brief stint with the Steelers, he signed a one-year deal with the Giants, who recently revealed their 2025 season schedule.
The Giants face a tough early stretch, including back-to-back games against the Commanders and Cowboys, followed by a primetime matchup against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 3. But Wilson appears focused, with a strong support system behind him-both on and off the field.
Whether it’s his wife, his friends, or business partners like Kenny Dichter,Wilson continues to surround himself with people who reflect his values and ambition. As REAL JET takes flight, one thing is clear: Russell Wilson rides with his people – and they ride with him.
