Will Levis‘ weekend went from bad to worse as both his NFL future and personal life took major hits.
After the Tennessee Titans selected Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, effectively replacing Levis as their starting quarterback, new reports suggest his ex-girlfriend, Gia Duddy, may have spent time with some of his teammates shortly after.
To be clear, much of this information is second-hand, but the optics don’t look good for Levis.
Tennessee’s move to draft Ward all but closed the door on Levis’ time as QB1. Following a disappointing 5-16 record over 21 starts, his future now looks like a choice between backup duties, being traded, or potentially being cut. It’s a harsh but unsurprising outcome.
Gia Duddy spotted with Titans players amid Levis’ demotion
The personal drama only added to the rough weekend. Duddy, who gained national attention sitting beside Levis during his infamous slide in the 2023 NFL Draft, was reportedly seen at Barstool Nashville – the trendy downtown club – over the weekend. Titans players T’Vondre Sweat, Jeffrey Simmons, and Arden Key were also spotted there at the same time.
Although it’s unclear if Duddy was specifically there with the players, she still follows T’Vondre Sweat on Instagram – a small detail that sparked further speculation about the nature of the interaction. Duddy had previously moved to Tennessee from Pennsylvania after the 2023 Draft, but she and Levis split a few months later.
Adding to the awkwardness, Duddy had been present at Nissan Stadium during one of Levis’ worst games this past season – his first appearance at the venue since their breakup.
Even if purely coincidental, the timing of Duddy and Levis‘ teammates being at the same place just hours after Tennessee drafted his replacement paints a brutal picture for the young quarterback. Between losing his starting job and the awkward social situation, it’s safe to say Will Levis had a weekend to forget.
