After a long six-game wait, the Kansas City Chiefs can finally count on wide receiver Rashee Rice.

With their offensive firepower back on the field, Andy Reid’s team will look to add another win to continue improving their record against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, in the run-up to the game, one detail stole the show.

Rice paid tribute to his teammates

The wide receiver suffered a torn LCL in Week 4 of last season and is coming off a six-game suspension for his involvement in a traffic accident in Dallas in 2024.

Now, back in the game, he attracted attention even before playing. Rice wore a special custom-made black T-shirt featuring an animated illustration of himself, Xavier Worthy, and Hollywood Brown.

In addition, the T-shirt features the nicknames of the three WRs written at the top: “RR-X-Jet.”

Selected in the second round with the 55th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Rashee immediately made an impact on the team, catching 79 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns in his rookie year and winning the Super Bowl that same year.

Now, he plans to repeat history and win another ring for the team after February’s fateful final, where they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 22-40.

Currently, Travis Kelce leads the team with the most receiving yards (321), but it is expected that the chemistry Rice demonstrated with Patrick Mahomes will be the key to regaining the Chiefs’ leadership and keeping the Super Bowl dream alive.

The Chiefs enter the Week 7 game after beating the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium 30-17 and improving their record to 3-3 after the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars (31-28).
