Raheem Mostert is no stranger to new beginnings. As he enters his 11th NFL season, the veteran running back has played for multiple teams, including the Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers. Now, as he joins the Las Vegas Raiders, Mostert is embracing the opportunity with excitement and determination.

“I’m here to just get to work. My role is going to be whatever I’m able to create,” Mostert said when asked about his expectations with the Raiders. “There’s opportunity here, and I’m going to come into this building ready to get active and get to work.”

The secret behind his longevity

Playing in the NFL for over a decade is no easy feat, especially for a running back. The position is notoriously demanding, with players often experiencing shortened careers due to injuries. However, Mostert has defied the odds, remaining a productive player year after year.

When asked about the key to his longevity, he credited two major factors: health and performance. “Obviously, as a player, you’re going through ups and downs in the health world, but I’ve managed to stay on a healthy track. And then also, performance-you’ve got to produce out there on the field. High production is essential to growing as a player and contributing to the team.”

Embracing the Raiders’ legacy

Mostert is joining an organization with a rich history and a passionate fan base. For him, wearing the Silver and Black is an honor, and he’s eager to represent the Raiders on the field.

“When you think about this organization, you think about the history-the three Super Bowls, the legacy of the shield. Silver and Black, man, it’s just unbelievable,” he said. “I know the fan base is crazy. I played in San Francisco with the 49ers, and even then, you can’t compare the two organizations. Both have incredible fans, but the Raiders bring something special. It’s going to be exciting to be out here.”

With his mindset and experience, Mostert is ready to make an impact in Las Vegas. Raiders fans will be eager to see how he contributes to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
