A truly surreal situation unfolded during the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins on Friday night. A “deranged” Phillies fan got into an altercation with a father who “stole” a home run ball from her, in order to give it to his son. The father ended up giving “Phillies Karen” the ball back. Thankfully, the kid got a present from Marlins staff and ended up meeting the player who hit the home run, Harrison Bader. Now, fans want revenge on Phillies Karen, so they are trying to find her.

First, a rumor spread that her name was Cheryl Richardson-Wagner. The real Richardson-Wagner caught wind of the situation and posted on Facebook that “I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom“. In fact, she claims she is a Boston Red Sox fan. Then came another identity claim, with the name Leslie-Ann Kravitz making the rounds. Kravitz apparently is an administrator in the Hammonton, New Jersey school district.

They even took it a step further, getting in a dig at Phillies Karen in their statement.

Anybody who works for our school district, attended as a student, or lives in our community, would obviously have caught the ball bare-handed in the first place, avoiding the entire situation.
