Patrick Mahomes, considered by fans and NFL analysts as the best quarterback of his generation, can’t wait to start the 2025 regular season to show the world how he’s going to respond after getting blown out by Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX 40-22.

The former Texas Tech standout is entering his 8th season in the league with an impressive career so far: three Super Bowls with 3 MVPs in those championship games, two league MVPs, six Pro Bowls, Offensive Player of the Year in 2018, as well as leader in total yards (2022) and passing touchdowns (2018 and 2022).

It’s still early to say, but if there’s any quarterback that can match legendary QB Tom Brady‘s seven Super Bowl wins and multiple records, there’s no doubt that Mahomes is the one that`s closer to complete the hard mission, at least with the career he has so far.

Mahomes shows how he stays chill under pressure

After coming up just short of a third straight Super Bowl – something that nobody has been able to accomplish – Patrick Mahomes isn’t sweating the offseason, literally. In a new ad, he takes on pressure with an ice-cold twist that had fans asking for more.

Coors Light partnered with Mahomes to create a custom ice bath shaped like his own head. Fans in Kansas City can experience it live, while others can grab a mini version. Yes, a Mahomes-shaped mug for charity. Talk about a great gift.

All proceeds will go to the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, showing that even Mahomes’ chill moments come with purpose. Football may be on pause, but the Chiefs star is still making a splash. Fans are patiently waiting to see the superstar quarterback on the field once again.

Patrick Mahomes’ part of a special team

FOX Sports went ahead and put together an all-star squad for this decade so far, and – unsurprisingly – three members of the Kansas City Chiefs made the list. The team, which recognized accomplishments from the last five seasons, included 12 offensive players, 12 defensive players and six special teamers. Of course, Patrick Mahomes is part of it.

“[Mahomes is] the “GOAT” of this era with four Super Bowl appearances (two rings) and two Super Bowl MVPs in the last five years. Since 2020, his regular-season record, total passing yards, passing yards per game and passing touchdown marks top elite peers like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow,” analyst Ben Arthur said.

Other Kansas City players’ on the team include iconic tight end Travis Kelce, whose dominance in receiving at the position sets him in a stratosphere of his own. His 12,151 receiving yards are the third-most ever for a tight end. His 2,078 receiving yards in the postseason trails only Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice for the most all-time.
