Star quarterback and three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, have become one of the most famous and successful couples in the sports world-not only because of Patrick’s stellar performance on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs’ No. 15, but also thanks to Brittany’s executive moves and investment ventures.
Since taking over as the Chiefs’ starting quarterback, Patrick has become the cornerstone of Kansas City’s offense-a team that is seen as the one to beat in the NFL year after year. But Brittany is not far behind. With her shine, she’s carved out a strong presence in sports and social scenes. Entrepreneur, model, and a key member of the elite NFL WAGs (wives and girlfriends), Brittany’s presence is undeniably unforgettable.
Now a family of five, the Mahomes household has grown steadily. Their newest addition, Golden Ray, was born this past January. Their other children are their eldest daughter, Sterling Skye (4 years old), and Patrick “Bronze,” who was born in 2022. And just as the NFL offseason slows down, the Mahomeses found a way to stay in the spotlight, delighting their followers with a heartfelt decision this past Tuesday.
For the first time since Golden Ray’s birth, Patrick and Brittany shared their baby’s face publicly on Instagram. In a beautiful family portrait, the Mahomeses revealed what fans had been eagerly waiting to see for five months-the newest member of their dynasty.
Will the family keep growing?
The joy and love shown in their family photos sparked one big question: Will there be a fourth?
According to Brittany, Golden Ray may be their last child.
She shared this sentiment during a recent interview on the WHOOP Podcast: “We’re done; we’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”
A full-time dad during the offseason
With NFL activities currently limited to mini-camps and early prep for the 2025 season, Patrick Mahomes is fully embracing his role as a dedicated, hands-on dad. He’s taking every opportunity to be present and involved, and his kids are loving every second.
The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off the new season at home on September 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. It’s worth noting that travel is a constant part of NFL life, and family time becomes a rare luxury. But while Patrick is still at home, there’s plenty of love, laughter, and bonding. Once the season begins, the chase for a fourth Super Bowl ring will officially be underway.
