The extension builds on recent collaborations between Mahomes and Adidas, including the brand’s 10-year partnership with Texas Tech announced in 2024. That deal featured a co-branded apparel line highlighted by Mahomes’ gladiator mask logo, further blurring the line between athlete endorsement and brand identity.
Mahomes’ value off the field continues to rise. Before this latest extension, he was earning an estimated $28 million annually from endorsements, according to Forbes. On the field, his long-term contract with the Kansas City Chiefs remains one of the most significant in league history.
