Adam Sandler is bringing back one of his most beloved characters, and golf fans have an extra reason to celebrate.

Netflix has confirmed that Happy Gilmore 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 1996 comedy, will premiere on July 25.

Spiranac sneaks into Happy Gilmore 2

The movie’s newly released trailer has already generated major buzz, teasing a star-studded cast and nostalgic callbacks to the original film.

Among the many surprises in the trailer, one moment has particularly excited golf enthusiasts: a hidden cameo by Paige Spiranac.

The popular golf influencer, known for her on-course skills and social media presence, can be seen reacting to a virtual golf simulator scene featuring Sandler’s Happy Gilmore.

Fans quickly spotted her in the teaser and took to social media to confirm her unexpected role.

“The fact that I’m in the Happy Gilmore 2 movie is actually insane,”Spiranac shared online, expressing her disbelief at being included in the film.

Her appearance has already thrilled followers, with one commenting, “So flipping cool!” while another excitedly asked, “Was that you at the end with the TGL practice simulator?”

The sequel promises to deliver plenty of nostalgia, bringing back key characters such as Christopher McDonald’s Shooter McGavin, Julie Bowen’s Virginia Venit, and Ben Stiller’s Hal.

Alongside Sandler, the film will also feature cameos from professional golfers Rory McIlroy, John Daly, Scottie Scheffler, and Bryson DeChambeau.

In a more unexpected twist, celebrities like Bad Bunny, AEW wrestler MJF, and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce will also make appearances.

Spiranac’s involvement adds an extra layer of excitement, especially given her past tributes to Happy Gilmore.

She previously recreated the film’s iconic “Happy Place” scene in a social media post, playfully referencing fan speculation about her potential role in a sequel.

Now, her cameo in Happy Gilmore 2 turns that speculation into reality.

With its blend of returning stars, new celebrity cameos, and a storyline set nearly 30 years after the original, Happy Gilmore 2 is shaping up to be a must-watch.

Fans eager for a dose of nostalgia, and a surprise Spiranac sighting, can catch the film when it hits Netflix this summer.
