Paige Spiranac has officially made her Masters prediction-and it’s turning heads both on and off the course.

The golf influencer and former pro took to social media following Rory McIlroy‘s thrilling playoff victory at The Players Championship to announce that she’s backing the Northern Irishman to finally conquer Augusta National this April.

Known for her bold takes and social media flair, Spiranac shared a jaw-dropping photo in the signature Masters green jacket-with nothing underneath-declaring McIlroy her pick to win the 2025 tournament.

It’s a risky call considering Rory‘s history at Augusta, but Spiranac is confident that the four-time major champion is due for a breakthrough.

“Rory to win The Masters. I know but really this year is the year it’s happening,” she stated after McIlroy defeated J.J. Spaun in a tense three-hole aggregate playoff.

McIlroy’s uphill battle at Augusta

While McIlroy is coming off a hot performance, his past struggles at The Masters are no secret.

Despite finishing runner-up in 2022, his track record includes missed cuts in two of his last five starts and several underwhelming Friday rounds.

In fact, McIlroy hasn’t posted an under-par Friday score at Augusta since 2020, including back-to-back Friday rounds of 77 in the past two years.

Still, betting markets are responding to his current form. Prior to The Players, McIlroy was listed at +1000 to win the Masters.

Since his recent win, those odds have narrowed to +600 across several sportsbooks, making it a tight race between him and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who remains the favorite.

The 2025 Masters is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for McIlroy, who continues to chase the elusive career Grand Slam. Augusta is the only major he hasn’t won.

From Tiger loyalty to new hopes for Rory

Traditionally, Spiranac has been an outspoken supporter of Tiger Woods, the five-time Masters champion. But with Woods sidelined due to an Achilles tendon injury, Spiranac is shifting her allegiance-for now.

“It’s not the same without Tiger,” she admitted. “But that doesn’t mean the magic is gone from Augusta.”

In a recent post ahead of tournament week, Spiranac paid homage to the event in classic Paige fashion-donning a symbolic green jacket in a photo that was more refined than provocative, out of respect for the tone of the tournament.

The image immediately sparked buzz online, with fans praising her tasteful nod to golf’s most iconic tradition.

Though Woods will be absent from the field, McIlroy‘s momentum has many believing he could finally overcome Augusta’s challenges.

Despite missing the cut in two of his last five appearances, McIlroy remains one of the sport’s most talented and popular figures.
