Just a couple of days after winning the NCAA Championship with UConn, Paige Bueckers is becoming the next first overal pick from the 2025 WNBA Draft, unless the Dallas Wings commit a generational error and pass away from her. Let’s be real this won’t happen.

The event will be held in New York City, and the morning before the grand night the players who will become the new stars of the league visit the iconic building, Empire State, giving us some of the best memories about Paige Bueckers being nervous of heights.

She was along with Shyanne Sellers, who is projected to go in the first six picks. The WNBA Instagram account shared another footage with Paige admiting that the height of the historic building is too much for her.

The event is going to have place in The Shed at Hudson Yards, this is a leading contemporary art fair showcasing galleries and artists from around the world-from iconic names to emerging talent. The WNBA Commisioner, Cathy Engelbert, will announce the picks all night.

Like the two players chosen first in the previous WNBA drafts, Aliyah Boston of South Carolina and Caitlin Clark from Iowa, Paige Bueckers will move quickly from the Final Four competition to the professional draft. This turnaround means she’ll have few time to look back on her college playing days as her WNBA career begins almost immediately.

She left UConn Huskies as a legend conquering the championship after overocoming a terrible injury that kept her away from the court about a year, she returned and kept her promise.
