Bueckers ready to say goodbye to college

In an exclusive interview with People, the player spoke and if she still can’t believe that this March Madness is her farewell to college.

“It’s like you know it’s coming to an end, so you try to appreciate it and prolong it as much as you can because you don’t want it to end,” Bueckers says.

“But yeah, it’s a surreal and crazy feeling. You try not to even think about it being the end,” the player confessed.

However, she doesn’t want to say goodbye out of obligation and wants to leave her mark before she heads to the big leagues.

“There’s a lot of pressure. Win or go home. It’s my last game. There really are no second chances, so I just try not to think about it and just play with passion and joy and have fun,”Paige said.

Pressure won’t be a problem for her

Pressure won’t be an obstacle for Paige Bueckers; in fact, it seems to be the fuel that drives her to shine even brighter.

Bueckers reveals that she began working with a sports psychologist at the beginning of this season to help her deal with the pressure and her growing popularity. “He understands me well and uses different techniques to help me manage stress,” she explained.
