Paige Bueckers continues to walk on air after securing her first WNBA victory with the Dallas Wings, beating the Connecticut Sun 109-87.

The Mohegan Sun Arena once again saw the former UConn star shine: Paige contributed 21 points to the game. However, on her return to her old home, she had to face a former teammate: Olivia Nelson-Ododa.

The youngster contributed six points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals to her team, but that wasn’t the only thing she took home after the game.

In a post on their official Instagram accounts, they shared a fun moment showing that their rivalry is only because they are on different teams. Their bond remains intact.

Paige shared a photo from the official @connecticutsun account where they are seen very close and laughing together. “The sisterhood,” wrote the team. Paige showed her affection and gave Olivia a fun nickname: “Livvypoh” she wrote, adding an emoji of hands forming a heart.

The two played together at UConn during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, and despite wearing different colors, their camaraderie transcends that.
