Paige Bueckers’ impressive surge through the Unrivaled 1-on-1 tournament came to a sudden and emotional end in the quarterfinals, where she was overpowered 11-2 by veteran guard Chelsea Gray.
What had begun as a confident march toward the $200,000 grand prize quickly unraveled in a matchup that exposed just how unforgiving the single-elimination format can be.
Representing Breeze BC in the new-look Unrivaled Basketball competition, Paige Bueckers entered the quarterfinal round with momentum on her side. She had opened the tournament by defeating Kate Martin before delivering a statement win over her Dallas Wings teammate Arike Ogunbowale, cruising to a 12-4 victory.

She currently leads the league in assists and ranks among its top scorers, showcasing her versatility and court vision. With the regular season concluding in late February and the postseason tipping off shortly after in Miami, Breeze BC remains firmly in the playoff hunt.
