It is not the first time that the famous ‘Golden Boy’ Oscar de la Hoya has undergone a cosmetic procedure, nor is it the first time that he has appeared on camera with a modified or swollen face for the same reason, but this time he surprised everyone by the evident damage that his skin suffered after undergoing a CO2 fractional laser skin intervention.
The former boxer and now businessman appeared in one of his classic videos on his Instagram account to welcome Golden Boy Promotions to boxers Tristan Kalkreuth, Robin Safar, Federico Pacheco and Joshua Edwards, and had no qualms about appearing with the visible marks left on his face by the laser, and even told the camera “Don’t worry about the red face, I actually just had a CO2 laser, but the next time you see me, I’ll look 25 years (younger)”.
The comments were not kind to the ‘Golden Boy’
The comments on the video were not wasted, as the boxer’s appearance immediately caused jocular points of view from users who did not miss the opportunity: “Oscar just out of the pot,” said one; another commented “I thought it was Deadpool” and one more said “At this rate, you’ll probably also get a ‘Brazilian Butt Lift'”. They also put images of ‘The Thing’ from The Fantastic Four, a trompo de tacos al pastor, a steak on the grill, a rotisserie chicken and Julio Cesar Chavez lamenting.

Healing is provided by keratinocytes through collagen production.
When this laser is applied, the skin is visibly damaged, but gradually heals. It is recommended to spend the first week at home and avoid exposure to sunlight
