Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been romantically linked to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton since early fall, following speculation that he quietly ended his long-term relationship with Olivia Holzmacher.

Hours before Burrow led the Bengals to a critical overtime win against the Denver Broncos on Saturday night, Ponton shared a seemingly coded Instagram post.

Captioned “rainy day” and accompanied by emojis including a Bengal tiger and a lucky eight ball, the post left fans speculating that it might be a subtle good-luck message for the quarterback.

In the game, Burrow delivered another MVP-caliber performance, completing 39 of 49 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime. His efforts kept the Bengals’ playoff hopes alive, drawing praise from teammates and NFL analysts alike.

A burglary followed by a revelation

The romance rumors escalated after a burglary at Burrow‘s $7.5 million Cincinnati mansion on December 9. According to TMZ Sports, Ponton, not Holzmacher, reported the break-in to police. The TikTok influencer told authorities she discovered a shattered bedroom window and a ransacked room, sparking speculation about her role in Burrow‘s life.

Police reports revealed Ponton was listed as being “employed by Mr. Burrow” and provided a preliminary account of missing items. The nature of her connection to the quarterback became a hot topic, with insiders claiming they have been seeing each other “casually” for months.

In a recent episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, Ponton shared her thoughts on the challenges of long-distance relationships, further fueling speculation about her rumored connection with Burrow.

“I’ve had numerous long-distance relationships and it’s hard,” Ponton said, adding that structured communication, such as scheduled FaceTime calls, can help but does not fully mitigate the difficulties. “I don’t recommend it, but it’s also kind of inevitable in certain situations.”

Despite the off-field buzz, Burrow remains laser-focused on the Bengals‘ playoff pursuit. His remarkable consistency, including a record-setting streak of games with at least 250 passing yards and three touchdowns, has reignited MVP chatter.
