Djokovic demanded a public apology from Jones in order to speak again at the conclusion of his matches and it has come on Monday through an interview and after all the controversy arising with his words in which he branded Novak a “loser“

Jones commented that “my comments the other day were made in jest.” The journalist clarified that he contacted the 24-time Grand Slam champion’s team to apologise after Tennis Australia made him aware of the player’s displeasure. Djokovic wanted them to be public and through his media outlet
The broadcaster said that if he went back, he “would not say to kick the Serb out”. He was referring to 2022, when Novak was expelled from the country for refusing the coronavirus vaccine. Djokovic’s chance to speak again will only come if he overcomes Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open.
