The Philadelphia Eagles are ready for whatever the Los Angeles Rams have in store for them in their NFL Divisional Round game. At least that’s what head coach Nick Sirianni hinted heading into Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Los Angeles is coming off a resounding 27-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round. The Rams dominated the game in every department, making it clear that they will be a dangerous rival in the NFC race to Super Bowl LXIX.

The Eagles and Rams have already faced each other this season in a game that sparked at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The Week 12 game ended with a 37-20 win for Philadelphia and left valuable lessons for coach Sirianni and his team.

What did Siriani learn from his game against the Rams?

Speaking to 94WIP Sportsradio, the Philadelphia coach recalled that duel in which his quarterback, Jalen Hurts, only completed 15 out of 22 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. He explained that Sean McVay’s Rams were already a tough team before their game a couple of months ago and have improved since then.

“Going into our team against the Rams, they had been pretty hard, you know, before our game happened and then got hard again,” Sirianni said. In the interview, the helmsman acknowledged the work of his Sunday rival, saying “Rams is a really good football team, really good QB and I realy respect [head coach] Sean McVay.”

Rams to head to Lincoln Financial Field motivated

Although the Eagles enter the Divisional Round game with a bye week, the Rams are motivated not only by their win over a rival like the Vikings but by the tragedy that recently struck California with the raging wildfires.

Can Siriani take advantage of the lessons learned from last month’s game? Eagles fans hope so because it will determine whether they take another step toward the Super Bowl.
