The Sunday slate for Week 8 didn’t provide exciting finishes, but there were plenty of statements made throughout the day.

The Eagles were among those teams that made a big statement. They were able to avenge their loss to the Giants two weeks ago by having arguably their best game of the season, defeating the Giants, 38-20. However, the win came as the Giants lost running back Cam Skattebo to a gruesome ankle injury in the second quarter.

Elsewhere in the early slate, the Jets picked up their first win of the season, coming back from a 14-point deficit to beat the Bengals. The Texans and Bills both got back on track, defeating the 49ers and Panthers, respectively.

In the late afternoon slate, the Broncos rolled over the Cowboys to get their fifth straight win. The Buccaneers and Colts also picked up decisive wins. Tampa defeated New Orleans, while Indianapolis took down Tennessee.

Here are all the highlights from Sunday’s slate of games.
