The New York Yankees are going through a slump which they hope they can get out from soon, as the team is currently third on the AL East.

The franchise from the Big Apple have a current record of 65-52 – 19-30 since June 13 -, which is good enough for the American League final Wild Card spot.

The Yankees need to step it up soon, with the Cleveland Guardians, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, and Tampa Bay Rays competing for a spot in the playoffs. There’s little margin for error as the season gets into the final stretch of the season.

But despite the defensive gem, the New York Yankees fell to the Houston Astros 5-3 in 10 innings, continuing a tough stretch in their playoff race. Hopefully for its millions of fans, New York will find a way to win consistently.

Giancarlo missed most of the first half of the season because of an injury to both elbows. Stanton has had his share of lower-body injuries over the years that have prevented him from playing the outfield.
