The Dolphins had their last training session open to the media at the Estadio Metropolitano, prior to the first official NFL game in Madrid on Sunday. Yesterday, Miami coach Mike McDaniel and Diego Pablo Simeone met at the Dolphins’ training session and McDaniel revealed in a press conference what they talked about
“It was shorter than we would have liked. We talked about the salary cap (NFL) and how much a quarterback takes up in that cap. There are not many good quarterbacks, so that represents a challenge,” McDaniel said at a press conference
He later praised Simeone’s enthusiasm and called him “the best in the business in his role”
“I wish I could have spent more time with him; who knows where the conversation would led. I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend even a brief moment with him. He is probably the best in the business in his role. It was a pleasure for me; I wish I knew Spanish.”

He also spoke about the curiosities and questions that Cholo had about the NFL: “He is very curious to know how many people we have in the squad: 53 players plus 16 from the practice squad, so 69 people. He finds it incredible.”
“I’m surprised at the amount of games they have to prepare for”.
