The excitement Lionel Messi generates worldwide is unmatched, and though Inter Miami is playing away, it seems the Argentine star feels at home in every corner of the United States, thanks to the overwhelming affection from fans.

Messi Mania in California
After landing in San Jose, the team headed to their hotel to prepare for MLS Matchday 13, a crucial game where they aim to bounce back from recent losses that have complicated their season.
Messi was the main attraction, and as is customary, fans gathered outside his hotel, hoping for a wave, a gesture-anything.
And they got it.
The World Cup champion with Argentina stepped onto the balcony, taking in the massive crowd of supporters who came just to see him. Smiles, waves, and cheers filled San Jose as fans celebrated their idol.
Many wore Argentina national team jerseys and Inter Miami kits, though shirts from other clubs were also visible, proving Messi transcends borders and team loyalties.
As expected, ticket prices to see Messi skyrocketed to around $530, with a sellout crowd anticipated.
“This is going to be one of the biggest sporting events we’ve had here in San Jose. It’s a real pleasure to have Messi come. He’s the greatest of all time. And it’s an important game. It’s an important game for the Earthquakes. It’s an important game for Miami,” said San Jose Earthquakes president Jared Shawlee.
