Back on Didier Deschamps’ list, Kylian Mbappe was at the top of France’s squad for this international break and the double-header against Luka Modric’s Croatia in the Nations League

Next Thursday, France will face Croatia in Split; three days later, they will play the return leg at the Stade de France in Paris. Mbappe, who was not present in France’s last call-ups, returns to the Les Bleus squad. His last appearance was on September 9 against Belgium.

Also Jules Kounde (Barcelona), Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) and Aurelien Tchouameni (Real Madrid) are other representatives of LaLiga. Not to be missed, of course, is Ousmane Dembele, who is enjoying the best moment of his football career at PSG under Luis Enrique.

The other novelty in Deschamps’ squad was the first call-up of Desire Doue, a 19-year-old winger who plays for PSG.
