As a baseball player, Mark Teixeira is respected and loved by Yankees fans after being a key player in winning the 2009 World Series. But he is not seen in the same way as a person because of his ideologies and political aspirations akin to those of President Donald Trump.
In fact, his political career is on the rise. It was revealed that in the primary election for Texas’ 21st Congressional District, he won by a wide margin over the opposing candidate: 61.4% of the vote to 10.1%.
