What a controversy Pat Mahomes, father of the great Patrick, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, got himself into.
The confrontation between the Bills and the Chiefs was a fierce battle that spilled over into social networks. In what was undoubtedly one of the best games of the year, the Kansas City team came out on top and secured their spot in Super Bowl LIX, but some still haven’t forgiven Pat.
The father of Patrick Mahomes took to his social media to take a dig at the Buffalo Bills, which received a rather negative response from the NFL community.

“Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo,” Pat Mahomes wrote on his X account.
It was all a mistake, according to Pat….
Following his post on X, Pat Mahomes took to Instagram to justify his tweet, claiming that his account had been hacked and that nothing he posted came from him:
“Attention: Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s X account has been compromised. The Mahomes family has the utmost respect for the Buffalo Bills organization and the #BillsMafia fan base. We are actively working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your understanding,” was the statement they released.
For now, the tweet has not been deleted and is still on Elon Musk’s social media, with more than 3,000 replies, and of course we can assure you that they are not messages of congratulations, but of hate.
No one believes he was hacked
And Pat Mahomes‘ claims don’t make much sense because his account has been inactive for quite some time and he only posts about the NFL and his son.
His account was reactivated in July 2024 after a long period without posting anything since New Year’s Day 2023, so we can see that X is definitely not a social network he uses much.
It is not known if it has been hacked, judging by the five posts uploaded since July, as it generates a certain suspicion among the online community.
The account pays tribute to the late Willie Mays and also brings up Mahomes‘ baseball days, uploading photos of him in a Yankees jersey with his baby, now megastar son, Patrick. The reality is that the theories of NFL fans could be true, but this time we’ll have to believe Mr. Pat.
