Luka Doncic, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, has started the 2025-26 NBA season on fire (the Lakers are second in the West and he is the leading scorer in the league with almost 37 points per game)… and with a new car to add to his impressive collection.
This time it’s not something outlandish like the Jeep Gladiator Apocallypse Hellfire 6×6, nor classic like the Camaro from ’68, both from his time in Dallas. Nor is it electric, like one of his latest jewels, the Rimac Nevera. This time the Slovenian forward has opted for an exclusive hypercar roadster… even though it is mid-winter.
Snoop Dogg amazed with Doncic’s new car
Doncic has just acquired a Bugatti Mistral W16 here you can read our test), a car that currently holds the world speed record for a convertible. With its W16-cylinder engine, eight liters of displacement and four turbos, this spectacular two-seater is capable of exceeding 450 km/h.
It is very likely (because there is no road that allows it and with the strict American police watching, even less) that Doncic will never check it, but for the moment he has already caused a sensation with his new black sports car.
So much so that the purple and gold No. 77 has received the ‘blessings’ of rapper Snoop Dogg, with whom he met in a video podcast and to whom he showed his latest acquisition. The artist was amazed with Luka Doncic’s new sports car, which reminded him of a Batmobile.
“It’s the 2026 Batman car. If you get in it, I will too, I’m just a little bit shorter. We’d be like Batman and Robin. Take pictures of me with it,” he exclaimed, excited to see it in the parking lot.
And Snoop Dogg may not have known that there are only 99 units in the world like Doncic’s, and that he was in front of a tremendous sports car with 1,600 horsepower and five million euros per invoice.
