What a nightmare for all Buffalo Bills fans, there’s always the phrase “it’ll be next year”, but now the pain is different for the fans after another loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Josh Allen keeps losing when he should be winning, his record against Patrick Mahomes is very bad. Something the fans will criticize him for until he wins a game. As the season comes to a close, he will need to prepare better for the big games.

While the fans are already looking for someone to blame, Sean McDermott had no problem mentioning that his team left something to be desired and made a clear and self-critical statement that they did not deserve to win the game.

Josh Allen’s fault?

Sean McDermott went on to talk about the game against the Chiefs: “It’s not the result we were looking for. But I’m very proud of those guys. They fought, they gave it everything they had. They just came up a little short tonight against a very good football team,” he said.

And it seems he even dared to point out a possible culprit for the loss: “We had some plays where I thought we had a chance to convert a fourth down, a fourth and short, and then another fourth down at the end of the game. It looked like we had a chance to come back, but it didn’t work out,” the Bills head coach said.

Devastated and broken

Josh Allen was very disappointed and sad after the game, he came so close to playing in Super Bowl LIX, but once again he was left on the sidelines. He gave it his all, but it wasn’t enough against the Chiefs, who played a near-perfect game.

The MVP hopeful did not stay silent and commented on the effort of his teammates at the conference: “Very good, guys, showing up every day, working as hard as you can. You guys really embraced what we talked about at the beginning of the year,” Josh Allen said.

The truth is, this loss leaves Josh Allen as the one most singled out for his great skill and the great season he had in general. He will have to live with this loss for a while, and he will surely come back stronger, but he will have to give a little more if he wants to be a champion with the Buffalo Bills. The pressure is growing and the next season gives the feeling that he will have to bear a lot of pressure in view of these results.
