Names like Derek Jeter, Gary Sheffield, Jason Varitek and even Babe Ruth himself in his early days played in the Little League World Series. And the good thing about all this is that the 2025 version already has a schedule.

At this time of year, the city of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, always puts on its best clothes to welcome all those who come full of hope, with the clear objective of being champions, but above all, to have fun

Format and key dates of the Little League World Series

This year, there will be 20 teams competing for the pennant:

  • 10 in the United States.}
  • 10 internationals
  • They will all compete for the title in a tournament that combines tradition, excitement and talent at its purest.

Between August 13 and 23, in the middle of summer, a total of 38 games will be played in 10 days. The initial phase will use a modified double-elimination format, before moving on to the direct elimination in the finals

The champion of the United States and the international champion will meet in the Grand Final on August 24, which will be televised nationally

The young baseball players will be seen across the country on ABC at 3 p.m. ET. Wow!

Television coverage will be provided by ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, with streaming on ESPN+, FuboTV and SlingTV.

Wednesday, August 13

  • Game 1: Puerto Rico vs. Latin America – 1 p.m. ET
  • Game 2: Mountain vs. Great Lakes – 3 p.m. ET
  • Game 3: Panama vs. Australia – 5 p.m. ET
  • Game 4: Southwest vs. Metro – 7 p.m. ET

Thursday, August 14

  • Game 5: Japan vs. Europe-Africa – 1 p.m. ET
  • Game 6: Southeast vs. New England – 3 p.m. ET
  • Game 7: Mexico vs. Asia-Pacific – 5 p.m. ET
  • Game 8: Midwest vs. Mid-Atlantic – 7 p.m. ET

Friday, August 15

  • Game 9: Canada vs. International – 1 p.m. ET
  • Game 10: Northwest vs. United States – 3 p.m. ET
  • Game 11: Caribbean vs. International – 5 p.m. ET
  • Game 12: West vs. United States – 7 p.m. ET

When are the finals played?

The tournament will continue with daily matches until Saturday, August 23, when the finals of each draw will be played:

  1. Game 35: International Final – 12:30 p.m. ET
  2. Game 36: Final United States – 3:30 p.m. ET

Sunday, August 24 will be the turn of the grand final (Game 38) at 3 p.m. ET, where the international champion and the United States champion will face off for glory. That same day, at 10 a.m., Game 37 will be played for third place.
