Lionel Messi‘s bodyguard, Yassine Cheuko, is not playing around and wants all the smoke when it comes to a possible boxing fight against Logan Paul.

After all, Cheuko is a mixed martial arts fighter who has competed in several bouts. He regularly posts videos when he’s training in Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu.

He’s without a doubt a very well trained fighter in several disciplines and has legitimate fighting experience, the skills that got him his current job: protet the greatest soccer player of all time from a possible threat on and off the soccer field as he travels around the country and the world with Inter Miami.

Cheuko wants to face Paul as soon as possible

On a video posted this Monday in social media, Yassine Cheuko is seeing hitting a punching bag with rapid and strong punches that can easily cause some major damage to an opponent. The quick combinations show that the bodyguard means business when it comes to facing an opponent.

The video cuts to a recent interview of Logan Paul – American influencer, professional wrestrler, entrepreneur, boxer, and actor – where he talks about Cheuko. “It’s an MMA guy who thinks he can box, who thinks he’s entitled to victory or attention because he’s Messi‘s bodyguard.” Paul said.

“You said I need attention. You need attention. You start with this, you start to talk about soccer players to make a fight with soccer player”. replies Yassine, remembering when Logan challeged Messi to a boxing match. “So now we are going stop talking because I know you are a YouTube product. I come from the streets, I’m a street product and people on the street, they don’t talk a lot. So now stop talking, I see you on the ring, man.” says the bodyguard.

Yassine’s had a rough life before making it big

Yassine Cheuko grew up in a poor neighborhood in Paris, France and now lives in Miami, Florida. The former MMA fighter leads a team of 50 people that oversees the safety of the soccer superstar Lionel Messi, including his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, and their kids, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro.

Cheuko and Besmir Dauti founded Voclain clothing in 2023, inspired by the mix of elegance and vibrancy between Paris and Miami. “Voclain partners with a prestigious Northern Portugal manufacturer, crafting our eco-friendly line from organic cotton with thorough quality checks for durability and comfort.” states the brand on its website.

Yassine Chueko regularly shows off a brutal training regime on social media that usually ends with a savage MMA kick on his training partner Luan Aguirre Elias. The two can then be spotted joking together as it’s revealed how the kick during their sparring session resulted in a seriously damaged wall.
