Indiana Fever fell in their first WNBA Playoffs game against Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center by 80-68. Despite their strong start, they were unable to beat the home team.
Meanwhile, before the game, one of the Fever stars, Lexie Hull, celebrated her 26th birthday and had a great gesture with her teammates.

Indiana, seeded sixth, were unable to beat Atlanta despite an early 9-0 run. In the second quarter, their rivals outscored Indiana 22-12 and went into halftime with a 40-33 lead, a preview of what would be the eventual defeat.
Meanwhile, who shined despite the loss was Kelsey Mitchell: in 33 minutes of action, she scored a game-high 27 points for Indiana. Odyssey Sims was the only other player to reach double figures, with 10 points, three assists and two steals.
However, before leaving for the arena for the game against Dream, the Indiana point guard surprised the team by presenting each of the players with a Portland Gear Cascade Tote bag.
On her official TikTok account, Lexie shared with her 241.5 thousand followers the reactions of her teammates and which colors each one chose.
Caitlin Clark, for example, chose her bag in light blue, Aliyah Boston in pink, Chloe Bibby and Sydney Colson in black, Kelsey Mitchell in gray.
And not only were the players happy to receive this gift from Hull, but the moment was well received by fans, who left their support in the comments section:

Meanwhile, following the loss, Indiana prepares to play the second game of the best-of-three series on Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
At home, Fever will have to get a win against Atlanta if they want to avoid elimination and force a third game, in which they will have to go for everything to continue advancing on the Playoff road.
