LeBron James has won it all in the NBA, as the 40-years-old All-Star heads into his 23rd season in the league with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The kid from Akron has gotten four NBA championships – two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers and one with the Purple and Gold -, along with 4 NBA Finals MVP, 21 All-NBA selections and as many trips to the All-Star Game.

On top of that, James has been the captain for the USA National Team three times, winning three Olympic Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal. The 6’9 all-around player began his career chasing greatness, and by all means, he has exceeded expectations in a big way.

LeBron gets matching tattoos with wife Savannah

Savannah James had the company of her husband, LeBron James, and their sons as she stepped out for a rare tattoo session. She captured the moment when Bryce James – who will play college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats this fall – was anxiously waiting and watching as his mother sat to get her arm inked.

Savannah panned the camera to a nervous Bryce and mentioned that he was the one making her get a tattoo. LeBron James‘ youngest son admitted he didn’t like it when she got a tattoo, making the exchange even sweeter and personal.

The rare family outing became even more special as the James clan accompanied each other to get matching tattoos, sharing laughs and bonding moments that showed their close connection. This goes to show the world that LeBron is a champion on and off the court.

An early prediction for LeBron and Lakers’ 2025-2026 season

LeBron James has made it pretty clear that he wants to compete for another NBA championship before he retires from the game he loves, which adds extra pressure to the Los Angeles Lakers plan to win another Larry O’Brien Trophy as soon as possible.

And let’s not forget that the Minnesota Timberwolves – lead by superstar Anthony Davis – dominated the Lakers in the playoffs, as they lost 4-1 in the first round after finishing third in the conference with 50 wins. The midseason acquisition of Luka Doncic signaled a changing of the guard in Los Angeles, but it wasn’t enough for the team to go deep into the postseason.

Although LeBron James continues to betray Father Time, every ensuing season could be his last. Depth is of some concern for the team, so the Lakers need to run injury-free to repeat as winners in the Pacific Division. While that could actually happen, the playoffs is an entire different ball game.
