Kylie Kelce is matching the star power of her husband Jason Kelce‘s podcast ventures, announcing that Grammy-winning artist Ciara will join her next episode of Not Gonna Lie in a major coup for the mom-of-four.

The news places Kylie alongside Jason and Travis Kelce, whose own show New Heights recently featured Taylor Swift announcing her new album, in booking high-profile guests with ties to the NFL world.

The announcement, made Wednesday through Not Gonna Lie’s official Instagram account, came with a short teaser clip showing Ciara participating in the program’s light-hearted “Not Gonna Lie” confession segment.

In it, she laughed while admitting that, despite public perception of a strict diet, she has a love for carbs. The easy-going reveal aligns with Kylie‘s growing reputation on her show for the laidback atmosphere.

Now Ciara, who is also the wife of New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, will bring her own celebrity presence to Kylie‘s platform in what promises to be another deep chat about life as a woman and motherhood.

Kylie comes to terms with her child growing up

Kylie‘s booking of Ciara arrives during a period of personal significance as she discussed preparing for her oldest daughter Wyatt, 5, to begin kindergarten this fall, a milestone that has brought unexpected emotion.

“We’re getting ready for kindergarten, which is going to be exciting,” Kylie said to PEOPLE. “I’m having my mom moment about kindergarten and the fact that it will be like the start of school, right?

“Like, it’s not preschool, it’s school. So it’s a little… I didn’t know that this would be what would get me, but it has gotten me once or twice to just be like, ‘Oh, you’re leaving me… every weekday for the rest of your life.’

“It’s a little emotional.”

The Kelces‘ household includes three other daughters, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 4 months, ensuring that family life remains full even as Wyatt heads off to school.

Kylie also described a lighthearted but relatable pre-term ritual: clearing out the backpacks her children had been filling with toys since the spring.

“We have to get all of the toys out of our backpacks because we have packed in,” Kylie added, with a laugh. “I’m talking a wooden wedge of watermelon, like two toy cars, Play-Doh that has dried into spaghetti.

“I think it’s technically a worm if you ask them. There is just so much in their backpack right now that has no business going to school, so we will need to do that first.”

Kylie also noted that both Wyatt and Elliotte are “very much in the phase of life where they enjoy doing the back-to-school shopping,” adding another layer of excitement to the family’s preparations.
