Jason Kelce is known for his playful antics, but his St. Patrick’s Day prank on his wife, Kylie Kelce, may have been one of his most mischievous yet. During last year’s celebrations, the former Philadelphia Eagles center orchestrated a setup that resulted in Kylie being pushed onto the stage for an impromptu Irish dance performance. While the moment went viral and delighted fans, Kylie recently revealed that the experience felt more like an ambush than a lighthearted joke.

The couple had attended an event at The Towne House restaurant in Media, Pennsylvania, expecting to watch a friend’s daughter perform with the McHugh School of Irish Dance. However, Jason had secretly arranged for Kylie to be included in the routine. On her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Kylie shared how unprepared she was for the moment. “I just thought we were going to watch,” she explained. “And then, all of a sudden, my husband and our good friend Chuck decided to team up against me. I felt attacked, okay?”

Kylie’s Reaction and the Viral Sensation

Despite her reluctance, Kylie, who had learned Irish dancing as a child but had not performed since seventh grade, stepped onto the stage. With the crowd watching and cameras rolling, she managed to keep up with the young, well-trained dancers, much to the amusement of her husband. The video of her surprise performance quickly spread across social media, earning laughs and admiration from fans.

Kylie later admitted that she knew something felt suspicious when they arrived at the venue, referring to it as a “place Kylie has no business being.” Though she handled the prank with grace, she jokingly warned Jason and Chuck to “sleep with one eye open” in retaliation.

How the Kelces Will Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day This Year

With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, Kylie has made it clear that she’ll be celebrating in her own way-without leprechaun tricks. While many parents create elaborate setups with mischievous leprechaun antics for their children, Kylie prefers to introduce her daughters to Irish dancing instead. “I will not be doing any leprechaun tricks,” she stated. “That’s not me. You got the wrong one. But I do think the girls will enjoy dancing.”

As March 17 draws near, fans will be watching to see if Jason Kelce has any more surprises up his sleeve or if he’ll take Kylie’s warning seriously this time.
